Ohioans may be shocked to hear about this case of a doctor with sex charges
against him in Hudson. According to the medical malpractice lawsuits,
the man was previously indicted on 23 counts of sexual offenses, and now
he has been charged with one additional count of rape and three sex crimes.
Presently, he is involved in at least four civil suits.

According to court records in Summit County, the 59-year-old doctor is
now on GPS-monitored house arrest and will be due in court on Jan. 27.
The doctor will be arraigned on the new charges. Previously, the doctor
was charged with sex crimes when the alleged victims, all female patients
at a pain management center, alleged the abuse.

According to authorities, the new count of rape was investigated after
the doctor was arrested. The new supplemental indictment also includes
two felony counts of gross sexual imposition and a misdemeanor count of
sexual imposition. The incidents described in the documents allegedly
date back as far as 2011. It is believed that some of the patients had
felt threatened or forced, and others claim that the man preyed on patients
who were impaired by age or illnesses.

According to the Summit County court records, the now ex-doctor has been
charged in at least four separate civil lawsuits, some of which contain
claims of medical malpractice. At this time, the doctor is still touting
his innocence, stating that there are no facts that support there was
any non-consensual touching taking place at any time. He allegedly also
denied the allegations when speaking with the Ohio Medical Board.
